At The Noble Beast Dog Training, we believe that effective training is never one-size-fits-all. Our Private Dog Training Lessons are tailored to meet the unique needs of you and your dog—whether you’re focusing on basic manners, advanced skills, or addressing behavior concerns like fear, reactivity, or aggression.

With private lessons, you’ll receive one-on-one support from our Certified Dog Behavior Consultant and experienced training team, ensuring a customized experience that fits your lifestyle and training goals.

📍 Lesson Locations & Availability

We offer private dog training lessons both in-home and at our training facility:

In-Facility Lessons: Available Monday–Friday, 10 AM to 5 PM
In-Home Lessons: Offered Monday–Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM, within a 20-mile radius of Wheatfield, NY (mileage fee applies for greater distances)
Weekend Lessons: Limited availability—note that Jessica does not offer weekend private lessons due to workshops, events, and sport commitments
Virtual Lessons: A great option to get started sooner or supplement in-person training

Initial Consultation: $190 (1.5 hours)
3-Pack Follow-Up Lessons: $380 (three 1-hour lessons)
6-Pack Follow-Up Lessons: $720 (six 1-hour lessons)
Single Follow-Up Lesson: $135
Mileage fee applies outside 20 miles from Wheatfield, NY

In-Facility Private Lessons

Initial Consultation: $115 (1.5 hours)
3-Pack Follow-Up Lessons: $230 (three 1-hour lessons)

Accepted payment methods: Cash, Check (payable to The Noble Beast), Venmo, or PayPal.
All multi-lesson packages must be used within the following timeframes:

3-Packs: Must be used within 6 weeks of purchase
6-Packs: Must be used within 12 weeks of purchase

📆 Booking & What to Expect

Once you request an appointment, our scheduling assistant will review your intake form within 24–48 business hours. If we have availability, we’ll reach out via email to complete your booking. If we’re fully booked, you may be placed on a waitlist, especially for behavioral concerns. We try to accommodate current clients as best as possible.

Please note: Private dog training lessons are in high demand. If you’re looking to get started sooner, virtual lessons can be a great way to meet with a trainer earlier or to supplement group classes.

📋 Before Your First Private Lesson

To ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs in our care, we require:

✔️ Proof of current Distemper/Parvovirus and Rabies vaccinations (or valid titers)
✔️ Recent veterinary check-up confirming your dog’s health
✔️ Email proof of records to info@thenoblebeasttraining.com prior to your first appointment

🐶 Preparing for Your Lesson

In-Facility Lessons: Please potty your dog before arrival, but do not enter the building more than 5 minutes early—we may be finishing with another client.
In-Home Lessons: We’ll send a text with our ETA (allow a 10–15 min window for traffic). We’ll text again upon arrival to avoid ringing doorbells or exciting the dogs.

Please have high-value, soft treats ready (no dry, crunchy treats!). If we begin clicker training, we’ll provide you with a clicker and walk you through using it.

⚠️ Aggression Cases

If your dog has a history of human-directed aggression, we may email specific pre-visit instructions. Following these directions is essential for everyone’s safety. Failure to comply may result in lesson cancellation.

🚫 Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your initial consultation
Cancellations made within 48 hours of your scheduled lesson are subject to a rescheduling fee
Appointments will not be rescheduled until this fee is paid
A dedicated cell number will be provided for last-minute cancellations only—please do not use this number for general scheduling inquiries

Everything You Need To Know

Must be current on all vaccinations including Distemper/Parvovirus and Rabies or titre equivalent.
Please email these records to info@thenoblebeasttraining.com before your initial consultation appointment.
A recent exam by a veterinarian where your dog was deemed healthy.

Private lessons are offered in-home or at our facility, depending on availability.

In-Facility Lessons: Generally available 10 AM – 5 PM, Monday–Friday, as our group classes run in the evening.
In-Home Lessons: Typically scheduled between 10 AM – 6 PM, Monday–Friday within a 20-mile radius of Wheatfield, NY. Appointments outside this area may be considered on a case-by-case basis with an additional mileage fee.
Weekend Availability: While private lessons are sometimes available on weekends, Jessica does not offer private lessons on weekends as she is usually teaching specialty workshops, hosting events, or training/competing with her own dog(s).

Once booked our software will send you a confirmation email/text and also a reminder email/text the day before. If you need to make any last minute changes, please email and text the cell phone number provided in the confirmation email/text) Please note that this cell number is for last minute cancellations ONLY. Please do not call or text this number for any other scheduling needs. For in-facility lessons, feel free to arrive early enough to potty your dog, but please do not enter any earlier than 5 minutes prior to your scheduled lesson as we may be working with another client or setting up for your lesson. For in-home lessons, on the day of our appointment we will text with an ETA (please allow a 10-15 min window for traffic / driving conditions) and we will also text when we arrive to avoid knocking / ringing the bell and getting any dogs worked up!

Please have treats available for our lesson. Something that your dog really enjoys but that can be consumed quickly. No dry, crunchy large treats! Think soft and stinky! We may also begin clicker training and we will provide you with a clicker and show you how to use it.

*Aggression Cases* We may send you specific instructions on how to manage your pet for human directed aggression cases. It is imperative that you follow these specific instructions for your trainer’s arrival. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation of your lesson.

Any 3 pack purchased must be redeemed within 6 weeks of purchase date.

Any 6 pack purchased must be redeemed within 12 weeks of purchase date.
