Virtual Lessons are offered by Ashley Foersch

Ashley has been professionally involved in dogs for over 15 years. Ashley spent about 12 of those years also volunteering for several rescue groups- fostering dogs, doing home visits, and helping with training. Ashley’s first dog, Ivy (mixed breed), was a foster failure, and is the dog that ignited Ashley’s desire to dive deeper into dog training and behavior, as Ivy was a challenging dog. Since Ivy, Ashley has owned, trained and titled many other dogs of her own in many different venues , from therapy work to dock diving, agility, and IGP (formerly known as Schutzhund). Ashley has also helped teach/coach others to do the same. In addition to sport training, Ashley has a ton of hands on experience with pet training (foundation work, basic obedience, etc and behavioral issues). Ashley is also very well versed in the dog breeding world, as she has a breeding program of her own (German Shepherds), and has a close partnership with the Penn Vet Working Dog Center. Ashley recently represented Team USA with her German Shepherd, Basha, at the WUSV IGP World Championship for 3 years in a row. In that time frame, Ashley and Basha brought home 4th place, 5th place and 3rd place! Basha has since retired from competition and Ashley is now focusing on her young female, Cherry, as her next IGP competition prospect. For almost 10 years, Ashley owned and ran her own dog business but in 2024, she welcomed a son into her life, so she decided to take a step back from the business ownership aspect so she could have more time to focus on raising her son, and continue doing what she loves through offering Virtual Lessons with TNB – train dogs, and help owners strengthen their relationship with their dog through clear communication!
